Metasys BAS 11.0

Johnson Controls has introduced the latest version of its Metasys building automation system (BAS), release 11.0, with new cybersecurity capabilities and updated features to help avoid equipment failure and energy waste.

The release introduces a licensable fault detection and triage suite, which identifies building system-related faults in order of severity, then suggests their causes and corrective actions, for troubleshooting purposes.

It also introduces new equipment controller models to help streamline installation time and provide scalability for custom needs, as well as a new supervisory network controller series model with an on-board interface to allow operators to quickly and clearly monitor equipment status, view alarms, see trends, issue overrides and change setpoints and parameters.

Metasys 11.0 can integrate seamlessly with Johnson Controls’ OpenBlue digital platform for connected buildings and boasts U.S. Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 Level 1 compliance to help prevent unauthorized access to data and systems.
